Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar tools include local storage (data saved in your browser) and pixels or tags (small pieces of code that report what happens on a page). This page lists the ones used on lensandluxe.com and on our checkout at checkout.lensandluxe.com, and how to control them. Our Privacy Policy explains everything else we do with your information.
Needed to run the store
These keep your cart and checkout working. The store doesn’t work properly without them.
- Your cart (
react-use-cart (local storage)): remembers what’s in your cart on lensandluxe.com. Lasts until you clear it. - Checkout session (
PHPSESSID, woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart, wp_woocommerce_session_*, woocommerce_session (local storage)): keeps your cart and checkout together as you move between pages. Lasts for your visit, or up to 2 days for the cart session. - Sign-in (
jwt_token, auth_user_id, wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*): keeps you signed in to your account. Lasts until you sign out, or up to 14 days. - Stripe (
__stripe_mid, __stripe_sid, m): set by our payment provider to process payments and prevent fraud. Lasts 30 minutes to 1 year.
Analytics
These show us how people use the site and how fast it loads, so we can improve it.
- Google Analytics (
_ga, _ga_*): counts visits and tells one visitor from another. Lasts up to 13 months. - Microsoft Clarity (
_clck, _clsk, _cltk, CLID, MUID, ANONCHK, SM, MR, SRM_B): records how visitors move through pages (clicks, scrolling and mouse movement) so we can find problems. Some of these are set on Microsoft’s own domains (clarity.ms and bing.com), and Microsoft also uses this data for its advertising; see the Microsoft Privacy Statement. Lasts from your visit up to 13 months. - WordPress.com (Jetpack) stats (
tk_ai, tk_qs): counts visits to our checkout pages. Lasts from your visit up to 13 months. - Vercel Speed Insights (
no cookies): measures how fast our pages load. Lasts not applicable.
Advertising
These measure which ads lead to visits and purchases, and help show our ads to people who might be interested. Under some state laws this counts as “selling” or “sharing” personal information; see below to opt out.
- Google Ads (
_gcl_au, _gcl_aw, _gcl_ls (local storage), IDE on doubleclick.net): connects your visit or purchase to a Google ad you saw or clicked. Lasts up to 13 months. - Meta Pixel (
_fbp, _fbc, lastExternalReferrer (local storage)): connects your visit or purchase to a Facebook or Instagram ad. Lasts up to 90 days.
Email sign-up
- Klaviyo (
__kla_id): recognizes you if you’ve signed up for our emails, so we don’t keep showing you the sign-up form. Lasts up to 13 months.
How to control cookies
- In your browser: you can block or delete cookies in Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge. If you block the ones that run the store, your cart and checkout may not work.
- Google: manage ads at myadcenter.google.com, or turn off Google Analytics with the opt-out add-on.
- Meta: manage ads in your Facebook ad preferences.
- Microsoft: manage ads in your Microsoft ad settings.
- Many ad companies at once: optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org.
Our site doesn’t respond to the “Do Not Track” setting in browsers.
