All eyeglasses have three key measurements shown in our product descriptions and also printed on the inside of the temple arm. These numbers, usually in the format of 50-20-140, refer to:

  1. Lens Width (50 in this case): The width of one lens.
  2. Bridge Width (20 in this case): The distance between the two lenses (DBL).
  3. Temple Length (140 in this case): The length of the temple arm, from the hinge to the end.

By comparing these measurements with your current glasses or using them as a reference, you can get an idea of how the frame will fit.

To care for and clean your glasses, first rinse them with lukewarm water to remove dust and debris. Apply a small drop of mild dish soap to each lens, gently rub using your fingers, then rinse thoroughly. Dry the glasses with a clean, lint-free microfiber cloth to prevent scratches. Always store your glasses in a protective case when not in use and avoid exposing them to high temperatures or harsh chemicals.

We provide a variety of lenses including single vision, readers, and non-prescription options. You can also choose lenses with polarization, tint, or transitions for added comfort and protection.

We make it easy for you to select the right lens material. On our prescription ordering form, you'll find recommendations based on your prescription strength. For prescriptions above +4.00 or -4.00, we recommend high-index lenses for their superior thinness and clarity. Our base option, polycarbonate, is also a solid choice, offering added thinness and durability for most prescriptions.

It typically takes 4-5 business days for us to process and craft your prescription lenses. Once they’re ready and shipped, we’ll send you an email with tracking information so you can monitor your order's progress.

We do not offer returns on custom prescription lenses, as they are made specifically for you. However, if you're not satisfied with your frame, you can return it within 30 days by reaching out to us at [email protected] with your order number.

How do I read my prescription?

Reading your prescription might seem tricky at first, but it’s actually straightforward once you understand the terms:

  • OD (Oculus Dexter): This refers to your right eye.
  • OS (Oculus Sinister): This refers to your left eye.
  • SPH (Sphere): This indicates the lens power, measured in diopters, needed to correct your vision. A minus (-) sign indicates nearsightedness, while a plus (+) sign indicates farsightedness.
  • CYL (Cylinder): This represents the amount of astigmatism correction needed. Not all prescriptions will have this.
  • Axis: If you have astigmatism, the axis indicates the orientation of the correction on a scale from 1 to 180 degrees.
  • ADD: This is for multifocal lenses and indicates the additional magnifying power needed for reading or near vision, usually for bifocals or progressives.
  • PD (Pupillary Distance): This is the distance between your pupils, usually measured in millimeters, and it’s important for accurately aligning your lenses with your eyes. Click here to view our Pupillary Distance Measuring Guide.
